This building dates to around 1830 and was an out-building on the old Morgan Farm on King Hill Road in New London. It was used for the storage of farm equipment and horse-drawn vehicles.
This timberframe structure was given to the Society by Richard Chatellier in 1972, when it was moved to the grounds and reconstructed by volunteer members under the direction of Bud Lauridsen. In its original location, it probably sat much closer to the ground for easier access.
The Society uses one side of the building for rotating exhibits in the summer. The other side is used to store equipment that is placed throughout the Village for special exhibits.
